Yesterday our friend, Tom, took Maggie and Michael for the night. It was the first date night that Jamie and I have had in a long time. I'd say it went splendidly!
We went out for dinner to Old Chicago Pizza. Neither of us had pizza though! Well, Jamie had a calzone, so that's pretty close. We were able to talk about some details concerning Michael's birthday party without interuptions. It was very nice.
We went shopping at Meijer for a few things. Stopped in at Toys R Us for Michael's present. Rented a couple of movies. Watched a movie and pigged out on ice cream. It was a wonderful evening!
This morning we were woken up by a phone call from the phone company. The church's phone line has been down for a few days and they were calling to say that they needed to meet Jamie at the office so that they could work on it. He's been gone since 8:30 this morning. Not sure when he'll return. Looks like he's putting in a full day today.
