My husband is an associate minister. Because of that, Sunday is pretty much a major work day for him. He gets a few weeks of vacation each year, but it's not one of those jobs that's closed on holidays and such.
But today is a snow day! We got dumped on last night and it's still snowing right now. I think we're up to 9 inches. I remember this happening one other time about 9 years ago.
We've just been bumming around all morning. I took the kids outside for a bit. It's really cold out there so we didn't last too long. Jamie's working on some house projects. Hopefully my in-laws will trudge across the street and play games this afternoon. It's been relaxing. I miss going to church, but it's nice to miss it once in awhile.
My favorite part so far is watching/listening to Michael sing all the verses to Joy to the World.

Isn't this snow beautful . We got a call about 7:30 calling off worship. So we have been out digging out. It has been great . I made 2 different kinds of cookies . So i have enjoyed having this reward day to do acouple of things i didn't plan on getting time to do.
