My Little Trooper

Michael is actually handling this chicken pox thing very well. He still hasn't had a fever. And, his itching is under control. He played outside with Jamie for about an hour and is pretty normal again today.

The doctor prescribed a medication for him that seems to be working. I started giving it to him without realizing what it was or what it's suppose to do. I checked it out online to find out more info. It basically makes the sores go away quicker. It's been working! Since the first sighting on Saturday, he hasn't had any new spots show up. And, almost all of them are scabbed over already!

I just thank God that Michael is being such a trooper through this! I'm hoping that he'll be able to go to school for at least a few days before Christmas vacation starts up.

I keep praying about Maggie. Others are too (thanks guys!). We're actually praying that Maggie shows at least a few spots this week. That way we would be sure that she's over it in time for Christmas and that she wouldn't be a carrier during the holidays.
