We arrived back home Friday night from our trip to the UP. It was short and enjoyable and eventful...
On the car ride there Maggie started choking on some Cherio's. She wasn't able to cough at first. I grabbed her out of her carseat and by then she was begining to cough it out. It was scary.
We saw a deer cross the road and Michael said "He can't cross there. There wasn't a deer crossing sign. He's braking the law!" I don't know if he's heard that joke before, but he did it well. It was pretty funny.
When we arrived at our vacation home (just to make it sound lovely) it was very cold inside. Jamie messed with the thermostat and worked on the furnace. Apparently, the last person there left the temp. at 74 and the propane tank was empty. So, we decided that we couldn't stay there with the kids. We headed off to the Fox River Motel and stayed there.
We tried to do stuff around the house but we were so cold and unmotivated. So, we decided to head back home that day. The drive home went quickly and less evenful.
