First Day

I think this morning went well for Michael's first day of 1st grade. I decided to park and walk him in since he wasn't too sure what room to go to or what his teacher looked like. His teacher met him at the classroom door and introduced herself and took him right to his cubby and then to his seat. I like her! She made Michael feel welcomed the minute she saw him. There was no time for us to wonder what he needed to do. She took charge and that's what he needs.

Maggie and I went to the grocery store, and got gas. Came home and cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom. Then picked up Michael. He only had a half day today. Tomorrow will be our first full day. It should be an exciting year!
