Michael has had a busy week. On Monday, his cousin, Alissa, spent the day playing with him. They got along really well that day. Sometimes you never know with them. They are very much alike and yet very different. They've been known to punch, kick, and bite each other and they've been known to get into big trouble with each other. But, Monday was a great day for both of them!
Today, Michael's friend Jared spent the day with him. They did boy stuff... cars, wrestling, jumping, chasing after Maggie, hiding from Maggie, complaining about Maggie... your typical friend stuff. Maggie was doing the typical little sister stuff. Breaking down anything that they built and trying to give them hugs. She chased Jared around a good twenty minutes threatening to hug him. Oh, the giggles were music to my ears!
Tonight our friend Tom came over and beat us in Settlers. I decided to play a game of Seafarers (an extension of Settlers) to try to win. I'm usually pretty good at that game. Alas, Tom beat us at that game too. It was a crazy game. I think we'll have to have a rematch tomorrow night.
